EPISODE TWO: PRIME DIRECTIVE

The original group from Octoπ swim down, away from the Extinction Event and gather around a rock that would become their first headquarters in the Chicxulub Crater. They protect the Prime Directive as the only surviving relic from their homeworld. They take its mission quite seriously: Earth Domination.

General Von Beaky and Colonel Persephone don’t understand how the American public can get behind a borderline braindead POTUS who says ridiculous things.

How hard can it be to say something outrageous? They give it a go and fail miserably.

EPISODE NINE: CLOSE ENOUGH

Azul is getting President Jingo slightly more under control but he’s not listening super closely to what Paul Bunion and Veep Dick Pound are saying.

EPISODE TEN: PHASE TWO

Published: June 3rd, 2018

Now that President Jingo’s approval rating is up, Team Octoπ moves into PHASE 2. Team Swanka lays in wait to strike. Paul Bunion and VP Dick Pound move closer to inadvertently becoming Bert & Ernie.

EPISODE ELEVEN: HELP ME!

Published: June 10, 2018

Phase Two is going as planned. Azul steers Duke Jingo toward making friends with world leaders with somewhat positive results. Until Azul can’t quite overpower the contempt Jingo has for Angela Merkel.

Drawn well before the 2018 G7 meeting, so maybe he doesn’t heart Justin right now, but he’ll come crawling back….

EPISODE TWELVE: the monster...

Colonel Persephone briefs the Octoπans on Phase Two’s progress. Azul takes a break while President Duke Jingo sleeps except POTUS wakes up in the middle of it.

Artist’s note: while coloring the strip “Hey Everybody” stuck in my head and I couldn’t figure out why, where it was from. Then it hit me: The Monster at the End of this Book! Grover! Which is so weird since Bunion & Pound were already turning into Ernie & Bert.

EPISODE thirteen: RELEASE THE...

Swanka™ needs to hide her father from the public eye. Her half-sister Zales delivers a message to White House Correspondent May Bryant that POTUS is undergoing bone spur surgery. Meanwhile, Colonel Persephone realizes Azul is in danger of discovery. She releases the Kraken to draw attention away from the White House so they can extract Azul safely. But….the Kraken is non responsive….

EPISODE FOURTEEN: ...the Karen

The Kraken’s daughter Karen reports back to Colonel Persephone and General Von Beaky. Her dad is too zonked on painkillers to do anything. The colonel makes the executive decision to release the Karen instead.
